can you replace a hid headlight with a normal light?

i have an 2005 infiniti g35 it has a hid headlight in it it just went out. its a 100 dollars for another one at autozone they also sell 20 dollar regular ones for my car. will it work if i use a regular one or do i have to replace it with a hid light?

Maxima 99 keeps blowing 15a fuses when i install 35w HID lights?

I put in the HID bulbs, plug them into the ballasts, and then turn the lights on…and only one turns on and the passenger side blows the fuse. There arent any shorts as all plugs are going into the corresponding sockets. whats causing this???

Should i get hid lights?

I wanted to know other people opinion on hid lights for my Acura. I was thinking about buying a HID Conversion Kit maybe around 6000k light. i have sylanvia zxe right now but i would like to have hid lights. Is it hard to covert it? Any advice would be useful

Having 8000k Henon hid lights in Wisconsin?

I heard that anything over 8000k will most likely get you pulled over because its starts to get to blue. The thing is I dont have projectors, but if I were to point the lights low would I be safe?

I have a venza and i change the lights to hid lights now i want to put the original lights on it again but i cant remember wich ones go to the fog lights and the headlights can someone help me out with this thank you

but my question is, do i need extra things for these lights?
or is it just replacing the current lights that are on right now?

A 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS with 88 thousand miles, with HID lights, custom Magnaglow exhaust, and painted 17” factory wheels with a 5 speed manual transmission (and 4 cylinder engine) that recently gotten a full engine tune up including new front disc brakes and is running normally

OR

A 1999 Honda Accord EX with sunroof with 150 thousand miles with late 1990s Honda’s infamous Automatic transmission and that I dont really know whether or not it has received a tune up recently.

im asking because my friend is selling the eclipse and he has recipts to prove the recent maintanance. However, Hondas are better known for their reliabilty than Mitsubishis.

So which one would you take, more trusted brand with more miles or less trusted brand with fewer miles? (price is about the same)

Ok so I need some help. I am trying to buy some hid lights for my mustang and I’m also trying to buy some headlights to go with them. I don’t really know much about the different K’s in the bulbs like the 3000k, 5000k, 8000k or 12000k.
