Audi A5 aftermarket navigation?

I have a 2010 Audi A5 with the Premium plus package (higher than Premium but lower than Prestige). It has a 7-inch screen in the center of the dash for music and radio and also a slot of a memory stick for data (audio only). However, it lacks the prestige model’s MMI Navigation System.

My question is: can I install an aftermarket GPS system on it? Is it as simple as installing some software that replaces what’s already built-in? Or is there an actual hardware device that I need to buy? If it’s software only, will it scale to the 7-inch screen? And if it’s hardware, how can it be installed in the car without ruining the dash? Some pointers and options would be much appreciated.

I think my family is insane?

This has been going on since i can remember, at least 8. I am 13 now. My mother, whenever i forget to greet her good morning, rages and i can tell she wants to hit me, so i just apologize and say good morning. My father is a worse case on this. If i dont greet him from coming from work or do not say good morning, he would usually beat me until the memory sticks in my head. Last year in my 7th grade, whenever i had a bad day, my mother would simply ignore it and pretend to go to sleep and never listen. My sister would jeer at me and say to my mother “Well? He doesnt have any friends, so what are we supposed to do? He doesnt sag, listens to too much classical music and talks big words, so what do we do?” and they dismiss the case. Whenever my father arrives home this situation is MUCH worse. He starts telling me that everything is my fault and when I do something wrong at home, that is why it happens in school. I do not understand how some divine force curses me with a bad day just because i did not clean my room. So what he says does not make sense to me. Both “parents” have an EXTREME temper problem, beacuse whenever i keep rambling on just to get my mom to talk to me, she would scream in the loudest voice “I HAVE NO TIME FOR YOU! I HAVE MY OWN PROBLEMS, AND YOU HAVE YOURS! DO YOU WANT ME TO KILL MYSELF TAKING CARE OF THIS CHILD. GOD? IS THIS A CURSE?! THIS BOY?! GET OUT OF MY ROOM, JA! (She’s nigerian btw, and so is my dad) then im to scared to tell my dad anything, because the last time that happened, i got the blame and a beating, so i learned my lesson telling him anything, and then he pretends as if he cares( how can a 57 year male relate to a near 14 year old). Then my sister is WORSE than those 2 combined. She has the emotionally abusive personality of my mother and the physically abusive strength of my father combined. I think she is scared of people, and i’ve considered thinking about her being in a mental hospital because whenever she’s on the floor watching TV and im sitting on the couch doing nothing at all, she says to go away, even if im not talking, that my prescense is disturbing. I ask her why she’s so scared of people, and then she replies with a hypocritical response that shes not scared of her friends being in the same place with 5 people talking alot, but she’s scared of 1 person who’s not even saying a word, just playing his 3ds with no sound on. Then, whenever i end up doing something wrong, like being in her way when she’s walking, she drags me on the floor and beats me and jeers “That’s why you have no friends.(I find it quite embarrasing that someone 2 and half years my junior can beat me up so agressively). At that point i begin to question in my head whether she’s a female, or whether’s she’s even human at all, because i dont want her having children and ending up the same as my father. She doesnt listen to a word I say, or a word ANYONE says, only her friends. Then everytime she goes to her spoiled friend’s house, she always ends up getting worse and wanting the same things her friend has. And i cant tell my parent’s because, after all, who listens to me? On top of that, 3 months ago, my mom had an argument with my dad, because she had a surgery for her hernia and my dad wont pay for her(which i find VERY unreasonable, beacause she’s trying to earn her Master’s degree and she cant keep up with a decent job at the moment, and she’s not getting enough pay) so my dad said he’s not paying 6000 dollars (even though he’s fully capable of doing so) and my dad called her lazy (even though she cooks for him, cleans for him, washes his clothes, carries his trash, “cares” for the children, is practically a SLAVE for him, because in nigeria, a woman traditionally serves a man and women have no say on final descisions) and now there planning to get a divorce. Which leaves my wondering how they even get married in the first place with a 10 year age difference( right now my mom is 47, my dad’s 57) and i sit here wondering how i have such elderly parents. I would like to help my mom, but all she has done is abuse me, and has never been the biggest help or motivation in my school matters and at least 2 days of the week i end up cooking for myself while my dad sits on the chair, drinking beer and watching TV while my mom sleeps. Please help my so i dont become a madman like the rest of my (immediate) “family”. I already have a strong hate for them. Im male, almost 14, sister is 11, and any helpful answers would be appreciated. Thank you very much.

I get an error message: 0xc00000e9 unexpected I/O error has occurred?

unplugging a removable storage device such as an external usb drive while the device is still in use..
i unplugged my memory stick without ejecting it last night
and now i can’t get on to my computer without it appearing
is there anyway i can fix it my self?

Problems With my Dell Precision?

I have a Dell Precision m6300 series laptop. As for specs:
3 gb DDR2 memory (1×2gb and 1×1gb)
160 GB 7200 RPM HDD (internal typical SATA)
1920*1200 resolution
nVidia Quadro FX 1600 MB Graphics card (Integrated)
That’s all I can think of that would be neccesary.
Anyways. I press the power button, and I can feel and hear the HDD spin up. The power light comes on, and then the busy light flashes for about 3 seconds. 30 seconds later, the power light shuts off, and you can feel the HDD stop spinning. All the while, the Caps Lock light is flashing.
The screen stays black. No BIOS, no Windows bootup, not even a lack light. I have no sounds that a standard Windows startup would give me. I hear the motherboard click maybe once or twice VERY softly.

Solutions I have attempted:
Power Drain (Holding power button for 60 seconds w/o battery or AC, then running on AC)
Reseating LCD cables
Reseating CPU
Cleaning off the fans
Cleaning off and reseating the cooling system
Running a seperate hard drive (Toshiba 500 gb via USB 2.0)
Using 1 memory stick \
|—->Both done with 3 Seperate Cards. (2×2gb 1×1gb, all DDR2)
Reseating that single memory stick /

Thanks for any help you may be able to give. This laptop is a neccesity, as the one I’m on can’t run anything I need to do for my schoolwork.

This can’t be so. I’ve pulled the hard drive on another computer, ran through all the files, only to find everything normal. I even attempted to boot my broken laptop on another hard drive

I’ve reseated it in every possible way with every combination possible using 3 different RAM sticks. I know every stick works, as I’ve tested them all in different laptops. Still nothing

Hello!

I bought a new laptop on Saturday and moved all my files/pictures from my old computer onto it. Took me ages to do because I used a 4gb memory stick so could only move a few at a time!

Anyway, the new laptop “died” today, I have taken it back to PC World and they informed me that it was completely broke, couldn’t be fixed and would have to give me a new laptop. They also said that there was no way of retrieving any data from the laptop.

Is there anyway of retrieving files from my old computer even though I have cut and pasted them all off?!!?!?

Any help will be appreciated!

psp 3000 won\’t read memory stick pro duo?

My brother has a psp 3000 made for kingdom hearts birth by sleep. Anyway, he and I were playing metal gear solid peace walker versus ops. Later we were going to play and it said that the memory stick wasn’t inserted. But it was. I inserted the stick in mine and It worked perfectly. He just upgraded from 6.30 to 6.60. What should I do? He dosen’t jailbrake or stuff like that

Can I take a powerpoint, save it on a memory card and then use it to watch on my digital TV?

We can NOT figure out how to put a slideshow (powerpoint or ??) on a memory stick and get it to play on our waiting room digital TV? It seems like it should be simple. I did think about taking the snipping tool (with windows 7) and taking shots of the powerpoint and play it like a picture slideshow, but the pictures are too small, so you can’t see the information well.

I see these waititng areas with information floating by on their screens ALL THE TIME, but besides getting a little simple laptop (which we would like to avoid) we can’t think of a SIMPLE solution!! Any thoughts or ideas out there?? THANKS!!!

My PSP-1001 can\’t read any games on the memory stick.?

Today I upgraded my PSP-1001 to the version 6.38. After that it said there were no games anymore but I hooked it up to the computer and the games were still there in the ISO folder. I moved it several times back and forth from ISO to PSP/Games but it doesn’t seem to work. I’ve tried everything except for the Pandora battery thing which is not available in our country. I’ve also searched and learned that my PSP memory stick is fake and I don’t have enough money to buy another one. Please help.
