why wont my computer recognize my usb phone?

I have a cell phone called a Motorola Rival, and i want to get all my pictures and videos and all that on my memory card to my computer. So i plug it in, and the phone says unathorized charger, but it starts charging. my computer does nothing. show absolutley no evidence of the device being plugged in. so i go to menu, tools, USB mass storage, to see if i have to go into USB mode like you do on a PSP. so i press continue and it says you are still not connected to a PC. and i dont know what to do. can someone please help?

Phone is not working… still!?

This is an unresolved question that I posted yesterday, but since the thread died, I decided it was necessary to make a new one. So sorry about the sort of repost.

At any rate, I have two phones – both Panasonic handsets, no wires. One of them is connected to the master base, the other has its own portable charging station. If the master base is unplugged, neither phone will work.

My DSL/Wireless Internet, phone and cable providers are one in the same – Time Warner Cable. The internet and cable are working perfectly, however, two days ago, the phone dropped a dial tone and went off the map.

We have that nifty little “someone is calling you, so we’ll flash it on your TV” feature, so we know when someone is calling, but the phone does not ring. I have called our home phone from my cell phone only to get a never-ending ring – which is caused by a never-made connection, I am told.

We have unplugged wires to no avail. If there is anyone that can give me an intelligent response to this, I would be much appreciated! If you need more information, feel free to ask.

am using a skype phone to call on a yahoo messenger can it work.?

Could/should MAC server be paralleled w/ windows and can a voip phone system to plug in?

I am looking ot change my office to mac but have a a need for a few windows programs specifically Outlook! I also I need a new phone system and would like to get CISCO phones so any systems work with Mac?

ip phone times out – fix my polycom 500 ip phone?

Can someone tell me how to fix my polycom 500 ip phone? My calls get dropped ( times out ) after
5 minutes. Do I work with the broadband provider, router people or Polycom. Any suggestions would be
appreciated.

Problems with my Dell Inspiron 1525?!?

I’ve had it since about April 2008, and the problem is that when I open too many programs on it, such as MSN and I go on the internet as well, the screen just goes black and crashes, usually happens about once an hour at least! About 30 seconds before it crashes, for some reason, if I am signed on to Yahoo Messenger, it recognises that it’s gonna crash and it says “the usb phone is no longer connected” and signs me out. My computer also makes a loud whirring noise.
