Is there some way to lock the screen on T Mobile MyTouch LGC800 so certain programs won\’t accidentally close?

When trying to use the voice recorder or Video Camera the screen is so sensitive that you can’t put the device in your pocket without the recordings stopping. There is a button that closes the screen but that evidently terminates the applications as well. Any ideas? I’m never going to become 007 like this!

Moving work into the cloud- please advise.?

Hi guys. Here’s the deal.

I work as a typist, transcribing cassette-taped reports dictated by the doctors in my office. I currently work on site. The report files (WordPerfect) are saved to the office’s shared drive.

The other typist and I are both moving cross-country and the office would like to finally go digital and keep us on board.

We would like to have a privately shared pool of files- Word or WordPerfect files and sound files (we already have some digital recorders). Everyone with access should be able to see, download, and edit these files, and they need to be well organized. We don’t need that much space because as each report is finished, the sound file will be deleted and the report will be saved on the office’s computers.

I don’t really know what I’m doing here and I think it falls on me to figure this out… please advise!

Ghost hunting using everyday items?

SO me and a few friends are really getting into the paranormal and wanna try our hands at ghost hunting. However alot of the equipment sounds expensive. Are there things we can use from around our homes? Stuff like voice recorders on cellphones, digital cameras? I have a voice recorder on my old blackberry. Can that be used to pick up EVPs? Also I saw at radio shack the device used as a ghost box for $40.00 but I am afraid to modify it and end up breaking it. Can a regular handheld radio work if it is set to an open frequency that no stations are broadcasting on? Just curious about this.

Need cheap digital recorder to record classroom lessons?

I need to buy some kind of digital recorder that will enable me to record the training sessions I deliver and then put them online for students. I need something that will be able to clearly pick-up everyone’s voice in the classroom and would ideally be not too expensive. Can anyone recommend a piece of tech?

My wife was arrested in our home on a probation warrant. the cop told her he had a warrant for her arrest but?

a warrant for her arrest but it was at the police station not in his hand. she went to empty her pockets on her jeans and pulled out a chap stick he thought it was contraband he then cuffed her and started to search the dresser that she was placing her property on he found a glass pipe that was broken and two small plastic bags with meth residue in them he never showed me the items just put them in his pocket after all of this he then took her to his car then read her the miranda rights is any of this procedure handled correctly…. and how can we find out if the officer had his voice recorder on

We are having problems in my home.
My dad installed a voice recorder in the house so he can hear EVERYTHING that we talk about.
Is that against the law?
Can we tell the police or can we use that against him in court? When he and my mom get a divorce?

BOSS BR600 digital recorder?

I have a BOSS BR600 digital recorder which has just totally died on me. I’ve bought a new power lead but there is just no power to the unit. Does anyone have any similar experience of this? If so, what did you do to remedy the problem?

Sony voice recorder and Cellphone interview will the recorder record the conversation?

For a class I have to conduct an informational interview either by phone or in person. I chose my aunt who lives in another state so we have to do it by phone. I am not a fast typer nor a fast writer so I wanted to ask if I could put my phone on speaker and record the conversation on my voice recorder. Would that work???

digital voice recorder with sd card slot and microphone jacks?

Low budget under $60. I have a microphone headset but I need something to plug it into, I have a Sony nex 3 but there isn’t a microphone jack (can’t afford the external mic) so I need to record audio separate.. Amy suggestions? Thanks!

Microphones and voice recorders?

I’m on a extremely tight budget and I need to purchase a minimum of two individual voice recorders, and two separate microphones. My question is, can I buy a relatively cheap (and I mean cheap) voice recorder, such as a 15-20 dollar MP3-radio-voice recorder along with another relatively cheap yet well-performing microphone and get a good recording?

The whole set-up is purely for talking. No fancy singing or vocals involved. I simply need a clear recording that doesn’t sound like it was recorded by a 2001 off-the-street 5$ “mutifuction” calculator.
