I have a Micro SDHC 16gb sanDisk class 2 with adapter.

Will that work with hacking wii 4.3u
another question, Can i install a game onto the SD card or DVD Disk instead of a usb? most tut i watch say u need a usb to install game into. just wondering if i can use a SD card or DVD disk instead of USB.

Have just hacked my wii and have a few questions?

I am really seeing no point in hacking it at first i thought you could download Wii games and game cube games but i cant find anything on it…anywhere maybe you people can tell me what all i can do with a hacked Wii and how i can download these games…I had heard that with the home brew browser you can download things without using your SD card but i am finding nothing in a seance of Games regarding Wii or game cube i know there are emulators and what not but those get really old after a while So please tell me things i can do with this hacked Wii

Wii hacked (preloader) high pitched ring problem. PLEASE HELP!!!!?

OK this high pitched noise started appearing right after the installation of the preloader on my hacked wii.
It is a high pitched ringing noise that accompanies every sound on the TV, i.e. system menu, games, channels, sound effects etc….

It happens everytime I turn on the Wii and it is so annoying!!! how do i fix this??? Ive looked everywhere and there are some sites that people ask about this high pitched ring, but no one has a clear answer! WTF IS IT?? (It has happened before the preloader but very very very rarely, and was easily fixed)

Is a sound file corrupted? could it be the Homebrew channel or one of the USB loaders? what is it??

You see, I didn’t hack my wii myself. And I wish I did so that I would know how this works. Was afraid to brick it. Anyways, I have searched for days on my mobile phone internet (only internet I have right now) and can’t find much. I did find it runs on IOS55 and tried DLing it but mobile internet sucks.

Any way I can find out IOS55 is already installed?

Here is what I have:
Old wii (got it when first came out)
Version 4.2U
The Homebrew channel
Wad manager
Neo Gamma R7
Metroid prime trilogy (only 1 & 2) burnt on backup disc

Now when I start the disc it reads it just fine at the beginning, like the wii remote page comes up. And I’m able to make a game slot but when I go to choose to play the game and the wii just loads back to wii menu. I have lots of other backup discs and they all work just fine.

Is there a way to update a Hacked Wii?

Hello. I have a 4.0U hacked Wii and I was wondering if it is safe to update while keeping all of the hacks I have installed onto my Wii. And if I can’t, is there a way to install them back easily?

These things include Homebrew Channel, Gamecube Backup Launcher, several Game channels (LoZ OoT, Majora’s Mask) NeoGamma channel. Some IOS changes have been made as well (mostly messed around IOS 249)

Looking for an EXPERIENCED Wii hacker!?

I have a bunch of questions I want to ask about my hacked wii running 4.0 including:

How do I get my Wii to read off a usb flash drive/hdd (like maybe a wad I can install)

Why can’t I run NSMB2TNL from a dvd-r, even though regular NSMB works just fine on same type of disc? Do I need to load it from a usb drive?

Will formatting my Wii and re-installing HomeBrew Channel fix any problems I currently have?

Anyone got a hacked wii and can lend me some money on animal crossing: lets go to the city ?
