Could I have a keylogger?

I have norton on my computer and was recently checking out all the stuff its been doing and noticed that a key-logger was detected by the virus scanner on the 30th of July. It says that the status is quarantined and that its resolved and no action is needed. BUT I just wanted to be 100% sure. I was worried because it didn’t say ‘deleted’ or ‘incinerated’ or any other comforting words, just quarantined. Does that mean its still there? When Norton runs out will it be unleashed and cause havoc on my computer?
