When trying to use the voice recorder or Video Camera the screen is so sensitive that you can’t put the device in your pocket without the recordings stopping. There is a button that closes the screen but that evidently terminates the applications as well. Any ideas? I’m never going to become 007 like this!

Does it means that when you turn it off, you do not have to jailbreak it again? Jailbroke my old ipod and i hated that it could not be turned off because i hated to have to restart it all over again. Is it different now??

I’ve installed usb loader gx along with wad manager and all that other stuff, and I tried to play mario kart wii after I backed it up and the screen just goes black and if it DOES work it gets to the wii remote warning thing and the wii remote shuts off…. I’ve fiddled around with usb loader before this problem came up and managed to fix an error but idk what to do now….

Hi i need a little help I got a pocket knife a few days ago and I’m new to it and my friend said it might be in the switch blade family I don’t know about this. It is barely sharp enough to cut a apple. And it is like a reagular knife it comes out thru the side not the inside but I press a button and I comes out thru the side and there is a switch I can pull up to lock it and push down to unlock it. So in all the blade comes out of the side and turn the side and look thru the inside. It’s blade is about 3″ and a trigger is to lock it so it won’t open up

Suddenly wouldn’t start while out and about. No cranking, clicking, noise etc. Lights, electronics worked.

Took to shop. They replaced my battery. Car starts just fine.

Month later, same exact thing happens, same exact symptoms

Took to shop. They replaced my starter (car has 98K mi, above average start/stop history)

Car starts just fine, BUT – as I was pulling out of the shop parking lot, my airbag warning light went on. Also, I noticed the climate control unit was not powered. Not only no performance but no indicator lights.

I turned around and gave car back to shop. They isolated the issue to what they described as a fuse or circuit breaker in a ‘non serviceable compartment’ – and told me they couldn’t get to it and I’d need to go to the dealer.

I brought the car to the dealer, described all this fully. Their response was to shove a work order sheet in front of me for me to sign to authorize them to diagnose both issues (airbag light and climate control) at $98 each. So nearly $200 just to diagnose, completely separate from any actual repair work done.

I politely told them we’ll think about it, left, and drove directly to a non-dealer Jeep specialist not even a half mile down the road.

I had my car back in 2 hours, everything fixed, $128 total.

They said my car was showing 36 error codes – all related to a “#10 fuse” in an internal junction box. They checked the ignition switch and it was fine.

I asked this shop what they thought about the other shop saying they couldn’t get to it/fix it. They kinda shrugged.

Thoughts on the original shop / dealer / new shop?

I’m kicking myself that I didn’t just gravitate right to the independent jeep specialist from the start.

Especially after I strayed from using ind. specs for my ‘02 volvo when we moved, and a similar thing happened at the dealer – took it in for an electrical problem, and got it back with a broken fan. They didn’t trace that back to a fuse, they replaced my fan assembly – at 50% labor b/c I made a stink about getting a car back with new problems. Turns out on my car they failed to do a QC check.
also – could a starter problem blow that fuse? could the shop have blown it while replacing the starter?

I read that dairy products are one of the factors for increasing constipation. What about buttermilk? I am five weeks pregnant and suffering from constipation. I drink a lot of water and have cut down spicy food. But recently I realised that I also had an anal fissure. I can’t fast to heal the fissure faster. I have to eat since I’m pregnant. I have been eating vegetables and fruits, but I would like to know if I can consume buttermilk?
