How to play multiplayer games with an acekard 2i v1.4.3 and a acekard 2.1?

I can’t play multiplayer games with my acekard 2i in a v1.4.3 DSi with my cousin’s acekard 2.1 in a DS Lite. I found out it was my DSi v1.4.3 that wouldn’t allow me to play multiplayer games with other Acekard that didn’t do the firmware 1.4.3. Acekard update to trick the DSi. So is it impossible to play now or will there be another firmware for the acekard 2.1 in the DS Lite to trick the other DSi that its a real game like the firmware 1.4.3. update for acekard 2.i
