Keystroke problem, how to fix?

Hey everyone,

I’ve discovered that my laptop kept on having this weird keystroke problem. Upon using a keystroke recorder, I’ve discovered that my laptop keeps automatically repeating this keystroke:

[LButton, OemClear]

I’ve discovered what it is, but I’m not sure what it is or how to fix it, but it is causing me a few problems. Like for example it would sometimes close some of the programs I use. I’m not sure if it’s a virus, but i’ve scanned many times.

I use Windows XP Professional as my operating system and I’ve never spilled anything on my laptop keyboard, this problem just began to occur a few weeks ago and now it’s beginning to bug me.

I was wondering if anyone knows what it is?
Is their anyway of blocking this keystroke from automatically repeating?

EDIT: I’ve uninstalled .NET Framework from control panel and restarted my computer, but the problem persists.
