No sound coming out of the wii remote when turned on/not working (can\’t move cursor)?
Earlier I asked a question and it was resolved as it did work for a little while. But it’s not working again now.
Basically whenever I try to move the wiimote the cursor does not show up on the screen but buttons like the home button work fine and I can scroll through the channels. If I have a classic controller plugged in then I can move around too, and I rarely afterwards will be able to move the cursor with the wiimote for a split second before it stops again and I have to use the classic controller.
In the previous question people suggested to get a new sensor bar (which I did) but I still had the exact same problem. They said to put candles on each side of the sensor bar to increase the signal and that actually did work… for about 5 minutes and it stopped again. So I’ve come to the conclusion it can’t be the sensor bar.
However, 1 thing I did notice is that when I did that and it worked, there was sound coming out of my wiimote once I turned it on (you know, you hear sound on the TV but then the same sound should play out of the wiimote too when you connect it and turn on the wiimote?). Every other time before and after, there was no sound out of the remote. So I’m thinking this is a factor?
Before it’s asked – YES, I HAVE THE SOUND ON THE WIIMOTE ON. I have also:
- changed the batteries
- resynched the controller (several times)
- plugged in and out the console
- changed the sensor bar (it’s not the problem)
- adjusted the sensitivity
- made sure the sensor bar was plugged in when I turned it on
So is there any way to fix it? Is that a known problem that when the sound doesn’t come out of the remote there’s an error with the connection? I googled for a while but couldn’t find anything similar… thanks in advance! Again, please help and I’ll give you the best answer
