Wii only showing black & white.. Samsung TV.?

I recently got the Wii component cables (“official” ones), tried connecting but only get Black & White picture, but only when having Wii on, TV itself shows in colors.

Using the TV Samsung LE32D404E2W if it’s to any help.. I’ve seen other people having same problem, but it’s all about connecting the wii cables to the TV directly, but.. Well, don’t seem to have any slots like this for this TV?

^ is the only “site” I could find with the specs/slots, couldn’t find any in English, sorry.

So, what should I do? Sorry if it’s a slight dumb question, but yeah.. not very technical, and this is driving my sanity to the bottom. :p
I have the normal “scart” contact, or whatever it is called that came with Wii, and its the only way I have to connect the cables, really. Can’t find any where else. Yellow, White & Red “slots” in it, the cables got with was Red x2 Blue x1 White x1 (obv). The audio works fine, but if try other red or blue in “yellow” slot, as it seem to be the only slot there, get no picture. If use green, it becomes black & white. :/

On the TV itself, there really only seem to be HDMI x2, Scart etc, no place where the cables would “fit”.

There’s no where to connect them, unless scart God, I need to get better at these technical stuff, sigh

My desktop had been on for about 1 hour, read a couple of emails. I went downstairs for lunch when I returned?

my computer was off. I tried to turn it back on and nothing. My internet/phone/TV company came out today and changed the modem to an upgraded one, as they stated the modem they had installed previously won’t work on the new frequency in Laguna Niguel. They also changed a couple of cable lines outside at the cable box. When this happened on 1/26/12 my phones also died and the message on my phone was “check phone lines.” My phones run thru my modem also. Both phone lines I have were dead for a short period of time, even the land line was dead. A few weeks ago my laptop would not connect to the internet and my modem showed it was ok per my call to my internet company. When I called them again 1/26/12 and told them my problems they checked my modem from their location and said they could see a couple of resets as well as a couple of losses and would send out a technician. 1/27/12 I decided to turn on my laptop and to my surprise my wireless was connected and I could get on the internet. Surprise surprise!! I had tried to get connected many, many times previously and nothing. Could it be a power surge that knocked out my phones and desktop and regenerated my laptop?

can you replace a hid headlight with a normal light?

i have an 2005 infiniti g35 it has a hid headlight in it it just went out. its a 100 dollars for another one at autozone they also sell 20 dollar regular ones for my car. will it work if i use a regular one or do i have to replace it with a hid light?

Is the public computer safe?

I printed out something for my mom, because we don’t have a printer. I printed out in the Library. It involved writing in her personal information and I also printed it. Is there key loggers? Or will the Library look through the files? I’m worried.

How to get strobe-type deterrent lighting?

Behind our housing community, there is a private street that we use only for parking. Recently, there have been some burglaries of cars, and we’re looking for a nighttime, strobe type system at each entrance, which will incorporate a thousandth-of-a-second burst of light as a deterrent to trespassers — something similar to the traffic cameras that flash to record license numbers of speeders in our area…but we wouldn’t want the cost of a camera attachment, only the motion-sensitive single burst of strobe light as a deterrent. Any ideas where we could purchase such a system at a reasonable cost (maybe no more than $100 for each unit)? We could provide pole installation and hard-wiring. Thanks.

How do I dial a number and make a call using my Anotec USB skype phone?

I have a USB skype phone (brand Anotec). I bought some Skype credit and then wanted to directly dial a number using the phone as instructed, first entering the country code, followed by the number. However, even though the LCD display on the phone shows the digits entered correctly with the Skype screen shifting to call screen, the window then gets ’stuck’ on the country dropdown option and nothing happens, even when pressing the call button. The only way to proceed is to cancel the call and start again. It is apparently impossible to directly make a call using the phone without resorting to the phone book. I have enough credit and the number is correct and the software used is Skypemate. Any suggestions to directly dial a number and get through?

My browser resizes by itself non-stop?

Its seems to be resizing so fast non-stop, almost like a strobe light flashing. I can close the browser, but when i open it again it just starts flashing again. The problem eventually goes away after a few minutes. I’ve tried reinstalling Firefox, and i also tried switching to Chrome, but it hasn’t worked.

Is it illegal for a cop to use his emergency lights when there is no emergency?

the police use their lights all the time, when they are only supposed to use the lights for emergencies, i heard it is a felony violation of oath of office, can someone please varify this with case law?
