Wii remote will connect, but wont stay connected to computer?

I recently got a bluetooth dongle and i have been trying to get it to work with the computer, the computer itself is windows 7, so it should be able to connect by default, and it will, but it wont stay connected. any help? also, the wiimote itself only has 3 lights blinking instead of 4, could that mean something?
this is actually all the info you need to know
first, it SHOULD connect, windows 7 has the ability to connect a wii remote to bluetooth automatically, w/out any extra programs
2nd, It will connect, but disconnects shortly afterwards
3rd, the wii remote only has 3 lights blinking, which i guess means it is only at 3/4 power, because 1 lights means it has about 1/4 power, so does the bluetooth require it to have all 4 lights flashing?
4th, the link you posted, Richard, requires Bluesoliel (which i did use, and it worked for a while, but i would have to purchase it to actually continue using it)
